The Performing Arts will again play a major role in the overall festival presentation. This year we'll be looking forward to presenting some of the best in Aboriginal talents from all over the world.

Overview

Main Stage
Throughout the festival, the Main Stage will feature various artists from both the Music and Performance tents.

Music Cafe
The line up for the music tent is now being put together by the organizers. The number of artists prepared to entertain at this year's festival will assure visitors of the best in Aboriginal music.

Performance Tent
The performance tent, new this year, will feature contemporary dance, theatre, the spoken word, music, demonstrations and special performances.


Application Form

Are you interested in performing at the 2008 Canadian Aboriginal Festival?

If you are a musician, actor, dancer, poet, author, drama group or other performance artist and are interested in showcasing your talent at the 2008 Festival, please download fill out the Aboriginal Performing Artists Application Form.

The deadline for the application is June 30, 2008. The selected performers will be notified in
August 2008. A fee will be offered, however, because we have a limited budget, travel and
accommodations will be the responsibility of the performer.
