Traditional Teachings - 2012 Mystery and Other Ancient Prophecies
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
$10. 00 admission
Presenters:
-
Alonso Mendez of the Maya Culture and Ed Barnhart, a Mayan archaeologist
will speak on debunking the fears and worries of scientists prediction of some gigantic castrophic occurrence on Dec. 21st, 2012 or shortly after this date.
-
Leigh Kuwanwisiwma
A Hopi representative speaking on a prophecy that is significant and corroborated by Science. The prophecy deals with an asteroid known to the Hopi as the Yellow Star Katsina. Hopis predict that once the Yellow Star Katsina appears in the sky, it will signify the "end times" and/or "a crying rock is rolling towards the Hopi people (humanity)".
-
Tony Duncan of the Apache and Arikara/Hidatsa Nations
will speak on the meanings of the imagery and transitions of the creation stories of the Apache. The skies, the stars and the prophecies of birth and re-birth are very important in Apache tradition. Respect for earth, water and sky accounts for the continuation of the human race. Without that respect it is clear the earth and all that is on it will suffer as it is now.
There will be a fifteen minute presentation by each of the four presenters listed above and then open the floor for questions and answers.
