Edmonton's Wendy Walker has been performing professionally since 1994, and began her singing career at the age of 8 by singing in churches, prisons, and Joe's and Flo's Restaurant on West Broadway on Sunday nights. She has since performed with Buffy St. Marie, Murray Porter, Laura Vincent, and has opened for Tom Jackson, Lawrence Martin, and Keith Secola.

Wendy created an Aboriginal version of Oh Canada that has been performed before many corporate, political and community leaders. At the request of the United Nations, Wendy opened the 2003 Summit in Toronto and performed her music. She has toured across Canada, the United States and in Europe while promoting One Light and hopes to send out the profound message about Global Peace and caring for our Mother Earth with her music.
