Team Rezofficial was formed in 2003 when two young beatmakers - Big Stomp and J Mak, both from Hobbema, Alberta came together. Over the next year, RezOfficial took shape with the addition of with solo artists Hellnback from Hobbema, Alberta; Dro from Alberta and Saskatchewan; Big Slim from Pasadena, California; L's-Aqui from New York and Ohio; and Tomislav from Winnipeg, Manitoba, as emcees. The term "rezofficial" was conceived as a representation of their undying loyalty to their homeland - the "rez" - and keeping their people proud with their achievements. With three independent releases under their belts, Team Rezofficial is moving ahead at full speed. Recently, Team Rezofficial signed a licensing agreement with Arbor/EMI.
