Northern Wind

One of the most respected Ojibway drum groups to tour the pow wow circuit has recently released their fifth pow wow album. "Whispering Winds" represents the journey here with mother earth, one of the main components of the four sacred directions in Native American spirituality. Northern Wind believes that the winds that breathe upon us carry spiritual messages between man and the creator. Northern Wind band members are Gabe Desrosiers, Farrell Desrosiers, Elliott Desrosiers, Rodney Crow, B.J. Paul, Bruce Crow, Archie Paypompee, Cory Joseph, B.J. Copenace, Nate King, Daniel Buffalo, George Councillor, Tommy Hunter, Melvin "Bullhead" Cowley, and Justin Handorgan.
