Hold on to your hats, here comes 2004 ECMA nominee Debbie Randii Michelin. An artist whose captivating lyrics and haunting vocals will keep you coming back for more!

Michelin, a Labrador native, has been well acquainted with music since childhood. With her premiere CD Spirits Dance; she crosses the boarders from Folk to Traditional
from Roots to Aboriginal.

Debbie comes by her talent honestly, with a family tree that includes Shirley Montague and the well-renowned Byron Fiddler Chaulk, considered by many to be two of the best known songwriters in Labrador. Debbie has dedicated this CD to her favorite Uncle Fiddler.

She received rave reviews when she performed one of her original songs, Summer Rain on a recent Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) appearance.

Spirits Dance recorded at DC Productions in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, brought together some of the best East Cost musicians in the business, Dave McIsaac, Lisa McDougall, James Logan, Pam March, and Don Chapman.

Her songs are currently getting airplay throughout Eastern Canada, Ontario, all the way to Manitoba.

Debbie enjoys writing songs about the land, the people, culture, roots and tradition. In true East Cost fashion her music tells us to live for the moment, to know that it's ok to laugh, to sing, to dance, to smile and most importantly to have fun!

A true artist, a true talent, she is gifted, and is going places!
