For the second year, The Canadian
Aboriginal Festival, held at SkyDome November 24, 2000,
put the spotlight on the tremendous talent and diversity
of Aboriginal performers at The Canadian Aboriginal
Music Awards.
With over one hundred and sixty-five
entries, it was not an easy task for judges to select
winners in the 15 musical categories. The success of
this musical awards evening will grow in next year's
Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards and for years to come.
